Knee_Update

Just a quick upload to show my progress. I am still trying to figure out the weapon system for the top part. I want some type of laser device but I have to do some research. I started working on the torso section but I didn't like to workflow of my model so I scrapped it and now I'm starting that part over. Again, comments are appreciated and thanks for stopping by.

Knee V-1

The knee is the next piece I am working on. I have the overall form modeled but it isn't complete yet. So here is a look at the progress I have so far. I am going to attach six arms to the bottom onto each sphere, creating a spider like feel to it. More suggestions on this project are welcome, and I hope you are enjoying my progress. More updates to come next week.

Foot V-2

Here is the new version of the foot for my project. I  added two treads, an antenna, and some more definition to the overall shape. I got rid of the bulky frame and the lights. I have a hole in the front of the body, and I'm not sure if I should replace it with something else or to keep it. Also I need to add some type of lens to the front, whether it be a lens like R2-D2 or just a glass plate welded above the hole. Please leave a comment or suggestions. I'm up for anything.

Foot V-1

This is my first version of the foot for my MAALAV project. I have had a few critics and started fixing some of the issues. The treads don't seem to be thick enough to support the rest of the body. Each piece only has one tread and this lacks the ability to turn. The square lights don't seem to fit the style and it seems to be "from the 70's" instead of the near future. Any more critiques are welcome.

3D model concept

I am working on creating a 3D model for my demo reel. I am open to new ideas or concerns about the sketch I have thus far.
I hope to complete the 3D model in ten weeks and I'll keep you posted on each part I do. This week I am focusing on completing the foot.
